Our Story
Model Bean Coffee was born out of resilience and passion during one of the most challenging times in recent history. In the midst of the pandemic, we—a husband-and-wife team—found an opportunity to connect with our community and share our love for exceptional coffee. It all began at the Kelowna Farmers’ Market, where we set up a small booth and served our first cups of freshly brewed coffee imported directly from our family’s farm in the hills of Colombia.
What started as a humble venture soon grew into something much bigger. The warmth and support we received from our local community fueled our dream of creating a space where people could come together over great coffee. Today, that dream has taken root in our coffee shop, where every cup is crafted with the same care and dedication that first inspired us.
From our small batch roasted beans to innovative drinks like the ‘Model Bean Fizz,’ our journey has been about blending tradition with creativity. We’re proud to share our story and invite you to be part of it—one cup at a time.
